National Night Out in Dunaire!

National Night Out is a yearly nationwide event aimed at promoting community spirit, police-community partnerships, and safer neighborhoods. Dunaire will be participating for the second year in a row.

First, we'll gather at the Indian Creek Baptist Church for the Dunaire Civic Association meeting at 7:30pm. After the meeting, lights and glow-sticks will be provided to participants, for a neighborhood night walk. Participants are encouraged to walk as much, or as little, as is comfortable.

When: Tuesday, August 2nd, 7:30pm until about 9:30pm.

Where: We'll meet at the Dunaire Civic Association meeting at the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

How: All participants will be provided flashlights, glow-sticks, etc. for a night walk. Those who cannot attend, are asked to turn on as many outside lights as possible as a show of support.

Who: All Dunaire residents, families, and friends. Police representatives from the DeKalb County Tucker Precinct will be participating as well.

So, come out...meet your neighbors...get some exercise...and enjoy a National Night Out!
