They offer homestyle Liberian and Nigerian dishes such as Jollof Rice, Egusi Stew, and Cassava Leaf Stew....and for those who want something a little more familiar, they have some outstanding Southern Fried Chicken, juicy burgers, and grilled salmon. You don't want to miss this one!

Dunaire Community Pool Cleanup - This Saturday Morning!

The Dunaire pool was gifted to the community many years ago...with the understanding that it would be ours as long as we take care of it. The pool is 100% maintained by members of the community. We are so lucky to have a space where we can play, relax and enjoy the company of our neighbors on those hot summer days.

Our membership numbers have been dropping for the last few years and so has the manpower needed to maintain the pool. So we are asking everyone to come give a bit of your time on Saturday. Please join us this Saturday for a Dunaire Community Pool Clean-up day. We will gather at the pool at 9am. Bring your gloves, yard tools and cleaning supplies. Meet the "Dunaire-ians" of summer and learn more about what makes Dunaire so great!

If you are not able to make it on Saturday but are willing to help with cleanup projects at another time, please contact Virginia Barber at 404-299-7454 or Corrie Phillips at 404-277-4205.

Membership info for the upcoming season will arrive in your email and mailbox very soon!

And one lucky Dunairean, who participates in the cleanup, will win a 2015 poll membership!

Dunaire Spring Community Garden Clean-Up!

Dunaire is a great place to live. We all enjoy our safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood. One of the many amenities Dunaire has is our active Community Garden, located on Cheviot Drive. Our community Garden has been around for 5 years and we have 22 Garden Plots.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! In order to keep our neighborhood beautiful, we need volunteers to help clean up the garden space. We will have a clean up weekend on March 28-29, 2015.

We will need the following help from our neighbors:

1. Mow in between the garden plots

2. Plots # 5, 12, 15 and 18 will need to be cleaned out and prepared for new owners (see attached map). There will also be signs marking the available plots that need to be cleaned.

3. Planting of new Fruit Tress around the gardens

4. Owners of Plots, this would be a GREAT time to get your gardens ready for Spring planting.

Even an hour of your time would be such a huge help to Dunaire!

Please send Adrienne Gil an email at wilscheka@yahoo.com letting her know if your child(ren) will be participating in the hunt this year. We would love a big turn out with all the kids in the neighborhood!
