Dunaire Dines Out at Piassa Ethiopian Restaurant!

For our next Dunaire Dines Out, we'll be heading to Piassa Ethiopian Restaurant at the corner of N Decatur Rd and Ponce for an authentic Ethiopian experience! Warm and friendly owner, Dagim, is looking forward to our visit and they'll be serving up delicious homemade Ethiopian food. If you're new to Ethiopian food, this is a great place to start. You won't want to miss this one!

Dunaire Civic Association Meeting!

The Dunaire Civic Association will meet Tuesday evening, April 4th, at 7:30pm, at the Indian Creek Baptist Church. You can park in their lot, park at the end of Bretton Woods / Hammett and walk up the steps, or just walk!

Topics of discussion will include the storm damage and repairs, the Community Garden, the Dunaire Community Pool, local real estate news, and general neighborhood improvement ideas. All Dunaire neighbors are encouraged to come find out what's going on in the neighborhood....we need YOUR input!

Dunaire Dines Out at Scout - THIS Tuesday Evening!

For our next Dunaire Dines Out, we're heading to Scout in Decatur's Oakhurst Village where beloved Dunairean Jackie is the Chef de Cuisine!

Scout offers seasonal American classics & craft cocktails with a modern twist served in a historic setting. You do not want to miss this one!

Dunaire Civic Association Meeting - Guest Speaker!

The Dunaire Civic Association will meet Tuesday evening, March 7th, at 7:30pm, at the Indian Creek Baptist Church. You can park in their lot, park at the end of Bretton Woods / Hammett and walk up the steps, or just walk!

We'll have a guest speaker, Robert Cox, "the retirement educator" to talk to us about how to maximize your Social Security, spousal/ex-spousal benefits, survivor benefits, taxation of benefits, early retirement and delayed retirement strategies.

Other topics of discussion will include the Memorial Drive improvements, the Community Garden, the Dunaire Community Pool, local real estate news, and general neighborhood improvement ideas. All Dunaire neighbors are encouraged to come find out what's going on in the neighborhood....we need YOUR input!
