Dunaire Spring Cookout / Pool Opening Celebration!

Our annual Dunaire Neighborhood Spring Cook-Out will be held Friday, May 27th, starting at 6pm at the Dunaire Community Pavilion. We'll also be celebrating the season opening of the Dunaire Community Pool!

This is a great opportunity to get connected with your neighborhood and make some new friends. Come by anytime and enjoy food and drinks provided by the Dunaire Civic Association.

All children MUST be accompanied by an adult guardian.

The Dunaire Community Pool has given our community a place to have fun, relax, and come together for decades.   It also helps increase Dunaire home values, so each and every Dunaire resident benefits from having this uncommon neighborhood amenity. 

Yearly maintenance runs in the thousands of dollars, and is barely covered by participants' annual dues, and the hard, hard work given by volunteers every year.  

We are ready to open this year with a fresh paint job, some new tropical landscaping, and code required repairs.    It's going to be a great summer pool season.  

But, we need your help!   Some large unexpected costs (including a very large dead tree removal) have come up, and need to be addressed quickly.  

If you haven't been able to contribute your time and energy to the many neighborhood improvement activities that have taken place recently, this is your opportunity to chip in.   Any donation will help.  We really need to get to $3,000 in the next few weeks to ensure the future of this wonderful neighborhood amenity.   If you really can't contibute at this time, no worries.   We, as your friends and neighbors, will be so grateful for anything that you can share.

Dunaire Dines Out at Arizona's Steakhouse with The South Bay Project!

For this Dunaire Dines Out event, we'll be taking a road trip to Arizona's Steakhouse at Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia! Dunaire neighbor, Amahl Lipkins and Atlanta's premier local R&B / Jazz band, The South Bay Project, will provide an unforgettable musical experience under the stars, starting at 7:30pm on the patio. You do not want to miss this one!

When: Tuesday, May 17th, at 6:30pm (music starts at 7:30pm)

Where: Arizona's Steakhouse at 2940 Stonecrest Circle, Lithonia, GA 30038 (near Stonecrest Mall).

Dunaire Cleans Up - The Dunaire Community Pool!

Summer is almost here and it's time to get out and deep clean the pool and surrounding areas.

All Dunaire neighbors are encouraged, and especially pool members, to come out Saturday morning, May 14th, to help get the pool ready for the season and looking its best.

We'll meet at 9:00 am, and we'll have supplies and refreshments.

And, at least one lucky clean-up participant* will win a $20 gift certificate from Savage Pizza in Avondale Estates, sponsored by Tony Nastri at Keller Williams Realty.

So, come on. Get out of the house. Meet your neighbors. Make new friends. Contribute to your community. Increase your property's value. And HAVE FUN!!

When: Saturday, May 14th, 9:00am until about 11:30am.

Where: The Dunaire Community Pool

Who: All Dunaire neighbors, ESPECIALLY pool members.

How: Just show up with good attitude and a little motivation.

* To be eligible to take part in the Savage Pizza drawing, you must be a Dunaire resident, have been on time for the clean-up, and participated for at least an hour.
