For our next Dunaire Dines Out event, we'll be headin' 'round the mountain to We Got Soul: Soul Food Restaurant. We Got Soul has been serving up some of metro Atlanta's absolute best food for years now..and don't be surprised if you see a celebrity, or two. You won't want to miss this one! 

When: Friday, August 25th, at 6:30pm.

Dunaire Potluck Luau!

Celebrate summer with your friends and neighbors at the Dunaire Potluck Luau at the Dunaire Pool Pavilion! Bring a dish to share and a bathing suit if you wanna cool off in the pool.

When: Saturday, July 15th at 6:30pm.

Where: Dunaire Pool Pavilion.

How: Just bring a dish to share, if you can.

Who: All Dunaire residents and their families and friends are welcome...but all children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Dunaire Dines Out at Ngo's Grill: Hibachi and Sushi - This Friday!

For our next Dunaire Dines Out event, we'll be headin' 'round the mountain to Ngo's Grill in the Stone Mountain Festival Shopping Plaza (near NCG Cinema and Walmart). Ngo's Grill is a brand new spot serving Japanese hibachi stir-fry, sushi, and Vietnamese specials and they're getting rave reviews already. You won't want to miss this one!

When: Friday, June 16th, at 6:30pm.

Dunaire Dines Out at Piassa Ethiopian Restaurant!

For our next Dunaire Dines Out, we'll be heading to Piassa Ethiopian Restaurant at the corner of N Decatur Rd and Ponce for an authentic Ethiopian experience! Warm and friendly owner, Dagim, is looking forward to our visit and they'll be serving up delicious homemade Ethiopian food. If you're new to Ethiopian food, this is a great place to start. You won't want to miss this one!

Dunaire Civic Association Meeting!

The Dunaire Civic Association will meet Tuesday evening, April 4th, at 7:30pm, at the Indian Creek Baptist Church. You can park in their lot, park at the end of Bretton Woods / Hammett and walk up the steps, or just walk!

Topics of discussion will include the storm damage and repairs, the Community Garden, the Dunaire Community Pool, local real estate news, and general neighborhood improvement ideas. All Dunaire neighbors are encouraged to come find out what's going on in the neighborhood....we need YOUR input!

For our next Dunaire Dines Out, we're heading to Scout in Decatur's Oakhurst Village where beloved Dunairean Jackie is the Chef de Cuisine!

Scout offers seasonal American classics & craft cocktails with a modern twist served in a historic setting. You do not want to miss this one!

When: TUESDAY, March 14, at 6:30pm

Dunaire Civic Association Meeting - Guest Speaker!

The Dunaire Civic Association will meet Tuesday evening, March 7th, at 7:30pm, at the Indian Creek Baptist Church. You can park in their lot, park at the end of Bretton Woods / Hammett and walk up the steps, or just walk!

We'll have a guest speaker, Robert Cox, "the retirement educator" to talk to us about how to maximize your Social Security, spousal/ex-spousal benefits, survivor benefits, taxation of benefits, early retirement and delayed retirement strategies.

Other topics of discussion will include the Memorial Drive improvements, the Community Garden, the Dunaire Community Pool, local real estate news, and general neighborhood improvement ideas. Dunaire Dines Out This Friday at Prima Injera Restaurant!

For our next Dunaire Dines Out, we'll be heading to Prima Injera Restaurant on North Decatur Rd...just two minutes away! Prima is under new ownership and is serving up deee-licious Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine along with some Italian-American classics, all in a beautiful atmosphere. You don't wanna miss this one!

When: This Friday, February 24th, at 6:30pm

Dunaire Civic Association Meeting!

Now that the weather is colder, we don't have as many opportunities to see each other around and about Dunaire. We're all hoping that you'll be able to make tomorrow night's Dunaire Civic Association meeting. We'll be meeting in the office building directly behind Indian Creek Baptist Church. We'll be running through the official agenda as usual, but also working on getting all our Dunaire events on the calendar for 2017. Your input would be most appreciated.
