Dunaire Happenings!

Get ready to mark your calendar, because there's a lot going on in Dunaire this week!

This Thursday, April 14th, the organization Pride Rings in Stone Mountain (PRISM) will hold their monthly meeting.  PRISM serves as an umbrella community organization for all of the neighborhoods in the heart of DeKalb.  This month's meeting will focus on "Creating Safer Neighborhoods," and on hand will be representatives from Dekalb County Law Enforcement, Neighborhood Associations, and Code Enforcement concerning Memorial Drive and how to make our community a safer place to live, work, and play. All Dunaire residents are encouraged to attend this Thursday, at 7pm, at Saint Timothy’s United Methodist Church at 5365 Memorial Drive.

On Friday, April 22nd, you won't want to miss the annual Dunaire Spring Cook-Out!  We'll meet at the Dunaire Community Pool Pavilion.   The grill will be fired up at 6:30, so come when you can. The Dunaire Civic Association will is providing all food and refreshments! All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Coming up, on Saturday, April 23rd, is the first annual Dunaire Easter Egg Hunt for our little Dunaireans.   Children should arrive at the community garden by 10:30am. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults who wish to contribute are asked to supply plastic Easter eggs and goodies and arrive early (10am) to help set up and hide eggs! To avoid any allergy concerns, please stick to non-food items (tattoos, stickers, erasers, etc.). Little goodies can be purchased at any of the dollar stores on Memorial Drive. So, bring your little ones and hop on over to the Dunaire Easter Egg Hunt! We'll see you there!

And, stay tuned for information about the next Dunaire Dines Out event on Saturday, April 23rd at The Rock House in Stone Mountain Village!

There's a lot of opportunity to get involved and make a difference in your community (and to have a lot of fun).  So, come on out!
